As promised

No, I didn't train the spouse--I made use of the big mirror in our hallway instead. Thus the fantastic lighting! Anyhow...here it is:

It looks perfectly marvelous, Saisquoi! A very flattering cut. And nothing like River's hair- did the Beloved get konked on the head for that, I hope.

Your grandmother and your family will be in my prayers.

I love your hair! It's very pretty and such a flattering cut!
Look at what a Beauty you are, wonderful smile!
Are you still 'no poo'? I'm thinking with the short hair it would be so much easier...
I'm 4 months 'no poo' and love it.

They did use shampoo on it at the salon, but at home I'm still "no poo" and loving it. Although, I have to say I didn't know how it would work after the haircut. My hair tends to be on the oily side and when it's short it seems to need washing more often.

But--did you know that if your hair's looking on the greasy side but not necessarily ready for a wash, you can sprinkle cornstarch on it and it looks fine? Who knew! And I use w-a-y less of the lemon juice rinse now--just a little spritz at the end of my shower! Yippee!
